We remember the sweet life before 1992.
Handcrafts were a pleasant pastime and were typical of nearby villages.
It was a short walk to the Bank.
The National Theatre gave us windows to other worlds.
The city was a safe home to many of us.
An orphan had a friend.
Wise mothers!
Africa is the morning of the earth!

Most of us moved about with the seasons. Our family was our life.

Camels gave us life.

Somalia - Before the War

Horticulture made our lives rich.

The local mosque.

Traditional clothing was made in the family at home.

The Unity Mosque was grand and safe for all.
